Zigana PX-9 9mm 4.5" Barrel 15 Round Capacity ZPX9
This incredible Zigana PX-9 is built on a similar platform as the Springfield Armory XD(M) series and is chambered in 9mm. This pistol features a 4.5" hammer forged barrel that is incredibly accurate and features a generous 15 round capacity. This model features a one-piece trigger that is incredibly smooth and makes it easy to actuate. A low-profile ambidextrous frame-mounted safety comes standard on this model, which is excellent for those who want safety without the added bulk. The rear sights on this model are adjustable, and the front sight features a tritium post. This model also features cocking serration on the front and rear of the slide, making press checks or reloading a breeze. As a bonus, this pistol ships in a hard case for maximum protection and includes (2) magazines, a holster, a cleaning kit, and a magazine loader.
Always had good experience with gunprime no issues there. The gun itself is great for the money. Especially with what it comes with. Happy with purchase.
Solid little budget gun. I had ordered this pistol with another company nearly two months ago. They never sent it, though they gave plenty of excuses such as Covid, riots, elections, the sky being blue, gravity, etc. I had to badger them for a refund. I still wanted the pistol, so I came over to Gunprime. It was shipped to my FFL within three days, which was a pleasant surprise. I am really happy with Gunprime.
Pros for the PX-9: It is a pretty smooth shooter. Put a few hundred 115 grain white box, 124 grain federal, and 124 grain SIG hp through it with no issues. (I broke in the mags before use.) I received three 18 rd mags with my pistol. It has a decent trigger pull, not mushy like a Taurus G2C. The reset is a little light, however, and as such not very crisp. In terms of ergonomics, It feels like an XD minus the grip safety. It is accurate.
Cons: I know this is not important to most people, but mine did not have the PI National Police crest on the slide. I collect that sort of thing. It was not a big deal and, to be fair, I was not promised anything in the description. The front sight is not great and is completely black. If you are picky about your stock sights, then this is not the pistol for you. I had an issue with the safety being insanely difficult to move either up or down. I think it is a design flaw with the tiny spring on the left side getting out of sorts or perhaps mine just sucked. I finally managed to get it working. If you want perfection out of the box, pay a little more and go with Glock or SIG. I will use it for hd, not edc. It is not a competition pistol. It looks and feels like it was made for military and police applications--that is, it is functional and tough. I would certainly recommend this for the collector or the intermediate level shooter, the person who knows what they are doing and will spend some time with it. I don't think this is a starter pistol.
I was pleasantly surprise with this gun. Recoil is minimal. Grip is fit perfect. A tad bit on the heavy side. No big deal. The one issue I had was the casings kept stove piping when I first fired it. After the first mag, no issues. Fired 2oo rounds with jams.
The grip and feel are smooth and secure. Trigger is tight and crisp. Recoil spring is solid, a bit heavy. Sights are perfect, spot on. Front sight is glow in the dark.. both are dovetailed.
And the custom holster feels like butter. No scrapping, just smooth. And multi positional.
Less kick than my Glock 17. The PX9 is just a good feeling great shooting pistol.. plus the case, clips, loader, holster, and extra grip pads. Its an Awesome deal... :)
Nice gun, 2nd Tisas I purchased. Well built, shoots great, awesome price point. Like the interchangeable back strap.
I have yet to really play around with it. Ordered the gun in a Friday, got it into my FFL Tuesday morning. I’ve been out to put a couple of mags through, but nothing else yet. Love the feel of the pistol. Very similar to the Springfield XD. Thumb Safety is easy to disengage, but takes some effort to put back on. I see this as a plus, because it’s not going to activate with a slight bump or active use. Comes with a retention style holster, which actually works well. Takes Sig P226 mags; the 18 rounders are flush fitting. Great buying experience and I’m happy with the purchase.
